China: 24-hour emergency service for GHS labels of chemical substances

General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China enforced tighter controls on customs inspection and requests to comply with the national standard of SDS and labelling. ”24-hour emergency number for chemical accident” on labels is required for all chemical substances imported into China according to GB 15258-2009 (Precautionary Label for Chemicals)”, which was implemented in May 2010.
Sumika Chemical Analysis Service (SCAS) started to prove the 24-hour emergency service, cooperating with the relevant organization in China.
